Blessing Box
Our Blessing Box is designed to help those in need by providing essential items such as non-perishable food, toiletries, and other necessities. The box will be stocked regularly with items donated by members of our congregation as well as members of the community.
The Blessing Box operates on the principle of “take what you need, leave what you can.” It is a simple way for us to share our resources and care for our neighbors, regardless of background or circumstance. This box is available for anyone who is looking for a meal or basic necessity.
The first Sunday of each month will be “Blessing Box Sunday” at which time we will be reminded to bring items to share with those in need. Church members sign up for a month at a time to check the box each week and continue to replenish it from the items that have been donated. What a great way for families to be involved in missions! You are welcome to bring items any time and leave them in the specially marked boxes in Building C, by the church office door, and in the storage closet in Building A, but our emphasis will be to bring donations the first Sunday of each month. Click the link below to see a list of what is needed.
Stop by and check out the Blessing Box which is located at the entrance to the King Street parking lot. Thank you for your support and generosity as we shine the light of Jesus and share this resource for our neighbors!
